Light Chain Amyloidosis: Patient Experience Published

533 patients took part in our survey earlier this year and it has given some very valuable insight into the experiences of patients with AL and ATTR amyloidosis. The information has been shared at a number of key medical meetings and recently the survey results were published in the online journal Advances in Therapy.

There is a lack of detail about the experience of patients with light chain (AL) amyloidosis.  The primary aim of this study was to gather data on the patient experience to understand the challenges in diagnosis and to gain insight on barriers to appropriate care.
