The Amyloidosis Research Consortium was founded in 2015 by Isabelle Lousada, an AL amyloidosis patient, and Chairman of the Amyloidosis Foundation. The Consortium creates a collaborative research model bringing together all stakeholders in the amyloidosis field to advance scientific research and speed the delivery of promising therapies to patients.
